Brian Lara is one of the World's best cricket player. He played for West Indies, known as Windies. He is a batter. Brian Lara is known for his highest score of 400.
Early Life
Brian Charles Lara was born on May 2 1969 in Cantaro, Santa Cruz Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies. His parents are Bunty and Pearl. Bunty worked in a local station and his Mom just supported his Career. Brian is one of the youngest of 12 kids.
In Brian's childhood he was very shy. At 6 a big thing happened. Brian got introduced to cricket! He just thought he would play for fun like this he never knew he was gonna become the West Indies icon. At just 14 years old Brian entered Fatima College. they had an amazing cricket program. Brian was like a master artist paint a masterpiece. At 15 Brian joined West Indies U19. Brian Lara was the captain of West Indies U19. Unfortunately for Brian in his first U19 World Cup, Australia won. Every Single Lara still believed in Brian Lara.
Middle Life
Brian was going even higher. He went to Over 19! Over 19 is the max stage that cricket players can get to. He started in Trinidad and Tobago. He didn't there for long. On November 9, 1990 Brian's first game for West Indies over 19 was against Pakistan. Brian scored a blunt 44. At that time Pakistan was known for their bowling. The game was drawn. In 1993 Brian scored his first centuries the game was against Australia.
Later on this boy was breaking a lot of records! Once in an April 10-14 2004 Series against England Brian Lara scored 400 RUNS in a single test match! All cricket students should really watch that game and observe the lesson.
Brian Lara also smoked the Aussies once. The Aussies are known as Australians. In 2007 Lara retired from Cricket. He was in the clapping zone. It is there when a person who is brilliant retires from cricket everyone claps.
Late Life
Brian Lara should be remembered because of his patience. Brian Lara also finds another way to find runs. If Brian Lara didn't achieve his goals then West Indies would not get that much help in cricket. Everyone Really should clap for Brian Lara.
